* IMPACTS: WARMER STORM WITH WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS LIMITED TO
SIERRA PASSES. WIDESPREAD RAIN AND FALLEN LEAVES MAY LEAD TO
SLICK ROADS AND CLOGGED DRAINS.
* FORECAST CONFIDENCE: MEDIUM CONFIDENCE IN WIDESPREAD WET
WEATHER AND TIMING/RAINFALL AMOUNTS.
* TIMING: LIGHT PRECIPITATION MAY REACH THE REGION BY MONDAY
NIGHT WITH SEVERAL WAVES OF HEAVIER PRECIPITATION THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.
* AMOUNTS: A QUARTER TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH OF RAIN
POSSIBLE IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY WITH WELL OVER AN INCH IN THE
MOUNTAINS. SEVERAL INCHES OF WET SNOW POSSIBLE AT HIGH
ELEVATIONS.
* SYNOPSIS: A RELATIVELY WARM STORM WITH A SUBTROPICAL MOISTURE
TAP MAY BRING WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION TO THE AREA NEXT WEEK,
WITH SNOWFALL LIMITED TO NEAR AND ABOVE PASS LEVELS. SNOW
LEVELS MAY DROP THURSDAY AS A FINAL WAVE COMES THROUGH THE
AREA.
