CA-BTU-Featherfalls - Vegetation Fire - 50 acres

Update: Butte County Fire - 50 acres Wind driven very remote. Large resource order placed with extended ETA's.
No structure threats at this time
Summary: The fire had been contained to about 20 acres for a few days but the winds last night kicked up a bit and now it's making runs and showing increased torching and crowning. currently about 50 acres.
There has been talk of closing the Feather Falls recreation area due to blowing embers. On site commanders are requesting air resources but are being given extended ETAs due to other area fires.
Fire behavior: The fire is presently making major runs in every direction and the radio reports by scene commanders are growing more and more concerned, Last report 20 plus acres, fire activity picking up with torching and limited crown runs.
Location: North of Oroville in the Feather Falls area. The fire is burning in heavy timber and has a wind on it, heading into the Feather Falls area. Unknown size.

Resources:, Two crews and dozer 2544 are enroute this fire from TGU, Copter 102 coming out of Redding is en route, additional Aircraft on order, Three tankers and two helicopters are on order.
First engine asking for a full assignment including aircraft, crews, and dozers.
Per Feather IC-, requesting 3 additional Type 3 engines for a total of 8, 4 crews, three water tenders, two dozers and a full assignment of aircraft. The location is on the B Line at the 40 B line above Feather Falls.
