Ralston 2 Wildland Fire

Wildland Fire update: 100 ACRES - 20%
Start:1651 hrs - 50 acres
Location: Pennsylvania Point Eldorado National Forest
Summary: A wildland fire was reported in the vicinity of Pennsylvania Point in the Eldorado National Forest this afternoon.The fire started on private land and burned onto National Forest lands.
Incident Commander: Matt Johnson
Resources: 7 engines, 1 dozer, seven crews, 2 water tenders, 3 fire patrollers, 1 air tanker, 1 air attack, 1 helicopter. As of 3:30 PM the fire was estimated to be 50 acres in size. State, federal, and private fire fighting resources resources are responding.
Cause: Cause Under Investigation
Date of Origin: 05/13/2008
Estimated Containment Date: 05/14/2008 at 1800 hrs.
