CA-MVU De Luz Fire north west of Fallbrook evacuation advisory remains in effect

DE LUZ Fire Vegetation Fire San Diego County north-west of Fallbrook

As a precaution, an evacuation advisory was given and remains in effect for a small number of residents by the San Diego Sheriff's Department.

Update 08/09/2015 2200hrs: Cal FIRE reports the De Luz fire is at 40 acres. The forward rate of spread has been stopped and containment is now at 49%. San Diego Sheriff's Department reports evacuation advisory lifted.

Update 08/09/2015 1900hrs: Cal FIRE reports that emergency responders have mitigated the structure threat of the 35 acre "De Luz" fire, north west of Fallbrook. It is currently at 10% of containment and personnel remain on scene working to bring it to full containment.
