Road Closures: Escorted traffic has begun for Highway 50.
Update 7-26-15 1815: 98 acres, 80% contained. Reduced acreage due to updated mapping. Hwy 50 is reopened to traffic.
Update 7-24-15 1815: 200 acres, 30% contained. Mandatory evacuations in place from fire area east to Sand Flat campground and for the community of Sugarloaf have been lifted. Voluntary evacuations in place from Sand Flat campground east to the community of Strawberry. Escorted traffic has begun for Highway 50.
Update 7-24-15 1100: 200 acres, 30% contained. Highway closures and evacuations are still in place.
