Quick Look Current California Wildfires Today (MAPS) #CaFire


OSCC - SOUTH OPS

ConwayFire, CA-OVD-1333, 50 acres, 25% contained 
Location: Mono County, North of Lee Vining, West of Little Conway Ranch

Silverado Fire, CA-CNF-2873, 
1,600 acres, 10% contained. Location: Orange County, Silverado Canyon Road. Unified Command with CNF, OCFA, and CALFIRE
Southern California Type 2 IMT (Garwood) Transitioned and Assumed Command

Meadow Fire, CA-YNP-00101, 
4,960 acres, 50% contained. Location: Mariposa County, Yosemite N.P. Little Yosemite Valley between Half Dome and Mount Starr King

ONCC - NORTH OPS

Bald Hill 3 Fire
CA-HIA Bald Hill 3: 200 acres, 0% containment. Moderate rate of spread. NORCAL IMT2 - Team 1 (Minton) assigned. In brief is scheduled for today at 1200.

Happy Camp Complex, CA-KNF Happy Camp Complex, 110,472 acres, 50% Southwest side made runs east towards King's Castle & south toward the Man Fire. @Info_CIIMT1 Team 4 (Opliger) has been assigned to the complex. In briefing is scheduled for Sunday 9/14. West and north sides of fire were mostly inactive. Mop up and patrol and suppression repair is ongoing in these areas. East side of the fire had some surface fire and backing fire was observed. The south side of the fire was active and still has high potential for continued growth.

Gulch Fire
CA-SHU Gulch Fire: 1,300 acres, 70% contained. No significant activity. The fire has exhibited short range spotting in heavy timber fuels. 

July Complex
CA-KNF July Complex: 47,470 acres, 78%. Growth overnight NW near Toms Lake & Elk Peak. SW & west flanks slowly backing south.
