CA-CNF- #SilveradoFire 1,600 Acres 10% Cont. / Mandatory Evacuations (Map)

Mandatory Evacuations: Per the Orange County Sheriff’s Dept. Mandatory Evacuations for Silverado Canyon. American Red Cross has established an evacuation center at El Modena High School, Approximately 250 structures threatened.
Road closures include: North Main, Indian Truck, Bedford, Maple Springs Rd, and Silverado Canyon Road.

Notes: 9/13/14 0700: 


  • Fire camp located at Irvine Regional Park
  • 10% contained; 3 firefighters treated for minor heat related injuries. 
  • The blaze was initially reported at about 15 acres, burning in Silverado Canyon near the Orange/Riverside County border
