San Diego County: Investigation underway in deadly mobile home fire

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - An investigation was underway Tuesday into what sparked a mobile home fire in southeastern San Diego County in which a man is believed to have died.

Firefighters fought the blaze off state Route 79, near Farley Flat Road in the small unincorporated town of Guatay, shortly after 9 p.m. Monday, according to Cal Fire.

The man's body was found inside the mobile home once the fire was out, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office, which said the man was 46. An autopsy was pending.
