CA-MVU-#HighwayFire San Diego County Wildfire Near Jamul - 10 acres, 100% containment #CaFire

CA-MVU-Highway 

Update 1400: Update from IC holding under 10 acres, spread stopped. Commitment Time 3-4 hours.  SR-94 is closed in the area while fire crews continue their clean up.  

Location: Highway 94 X Sycamore Canyon
Reported Date/time: 1300hrs
IA:  IC requesting 5 additional engines any type . CNF committed 5 engines on initial.
ROS: Moderate
ROC: Burning in grass and light brush, north side of the highway. No immediate structure threat, however, if it burns past Dulzura Creek, it could eventually.
Structure Threats: Possibly in future, North Side of Highway 94. possible structure threat Honey Springs Rd, 30-45 minutes.
Concerns: IC requesting CHP, closure highway 94 between Otay Lakes and Community Building Rd., 
Resources: Cleveland NF also has full response enroute, now IC requesting 5 addl. engines any type.
