L.A. County Firefighters to Host
Large Animal Rescue Training

Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) and Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) large animal rescue specialists will practice and refine their skills alongside members of the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control.  

WHO:              LA County Fire Department and LA City Fire Department large animal rescue personnel; LACoFD USAR HR103 and USAR 130; LACoFD Air Operations personnel.

WHAT:            A large animal drill and training exercise, focusing on horses and cattle in distress (trapped or injured). Rescuers will conduct four separate on-site training scenarios, including a helicopter rescue and a static ground rescue using the USAR Heavy Rescue 103 boom.elos; LA CiAnimal Animal Control,,, LAC

WHEN:            Friday, April 5, 2013 (Training begins at 10:30 a.m.)
