CA-SLU-Calf 640 acres - 20% #Evacuations MAP

 San Luis Obispo County, Highway 58 and Pozo Road, 5-8 miles east of the town of Santa Margarita 750 acres 10%  


Updates:
22:00 - Conditions: The fire is located in very rough terrain making access difficult for firefighters. Currently the road is closed at the intersection of Highway 58 and Parkhill Road.22:45 Calf Fire now 640 acres and 20% contained.
18:00 750 acres - 10% Tanker 911 diverted from Robbers Fire standby inbound for Calf fire ETA 1831, SBC 1531 C (T-3) Strike team enroute - immediate need request., Fire Spotting across Parkhill Road up to top of a ridge.


Evacuations: A mandatory evacuation order has been issued for the homes located on Parkhill Road between Highway 58 and Seven Oaks Road.
An evacuation shelter has been set up by the American Red Cross at Santa Margarita Elementary School. 
Animals: The HEET (Horse Emergency Evacuation Team) has also set up facilities at the Templeton Live Stock Yard for evacuated animals with feed and water available on site.
