LAFD Mourns Death of Off-Duty Firefighter Stephenie A. Glas

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of a beloved member of our
Los Angeles Fire Department family.

The untimely passing of Firefighter Stephenie A. Glas, occurred last Saturday evening, June 9, 2012, while she was off-duty in Malibu, the community she called home. Glas, age 37, joined the LAFD in August 2005 and was assigned to Fire Station 93 in Tarzana, at the time of her passing.


The public is invited to join the LAFD and the family and friends of Firefighter Stephenie A. Glas, when we gather together to mourn her passing. We kindly ask you to keep Firefighter Glas, her colleagues and loved-ones in your thoughts and prayers.
