CA-RRU-Highland #Wildfire 2200 acres, 30% contained

Current Situation:
Update 6:25 a.m. 6/17/2012 - Fire is 2200 acres and 30% contained. Updates on estimation for full containment/control will be posted as information becomes available. Ground and air resources continue the firefight today. No structures threatened, no injuries reported. Update 8:35 p.m. - Fire is still 2,000 acres and 10% contained. No estimate on full containment or control.
Update 6:40 p.m. - Fire is now 2,000 acres. Updates will be posted as information becomes available. PIO Captain Rick Griggs is on scene at the Incident Command Post at Potrero and Wolfskill Truck Trail.
Update 5:25 p.m. Fire is now 1,100 acres. No structures are threatened. No injuries reported. Updates are posted as information becomes available from the Incident Commander and will continue to be posted throughout the duration of the incident.
Update 3:50 p.m. - Fire is now 600 acres.
Update 3:30 p.m.: Fire is now approximately 400 acres. No structures are threatened.
Update 2:50 p.m. Fire is now approximately 250 acres. No structures threatened, no injuries reported.
Update 2:10 p.m. Fire is now approximately 100 acres. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of a wildland fire in Beaumont. The fire is currently approximately 30 acres and is being pushed by 15-20 mph winds in a westerly direction. No structure threat. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
