Breaking fire in Pomona - Gordon Incident - Vegetation fire into structures

4 homes destroyed and 2 million dollars damage caused by fast moving fire.

A fire that started at an apartment complex in Pomona Saturday injured a firefighter and damaged five homes, a garage and a shed, County fire officials said.

Injury: One fire captain reportedly sustained back injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

Update: 2000 hrs - Pomona Vegetation Fire destroys several homes, 3rd Alarm Structure fire in 182's area.
Update: 1850 - Additional 5 Engines were requested for Rehab.
Update: 1700 hrs - Gordon Incident just requested 3 Alarm for rehab. LACFD Code R move up for the Gordon Incident to cover all vacant stations in Pomona. FCCF just moved all units not assigned to the Gordon incident to blue5
