WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- A fire on Thursday burned through the roof of The Body Shop, a landmark West Hollywood strip club mentioned in the Motley Crue hit "Girls, Girls, Girls."
The fire was reported around 6:45 a.m. at the one-story club on the Sunset Strip. Television helicopter footage showed flames flaring through the roof.
No one was believed to have been in the building at the time, Los Angeles County fire Inspector Frank Garrido said.
Sunset Boulevard was closed off as fire engines and trucks arrived. Streams of water were poured onto the building.
