Comments: | Residential Structure Fire in the Desert Mobile Home Park/Duroville on the Torres-Martinez Reservation. Three mobile homes were damaged or destroyed. One mobile home was completely destroyed and the other two received significant damage. Twenty (20) people have been displaced due to the fire. The Red Cross has been requested to assist with caring for the displaced persons. A 2nd. Alarm response was requested by the first arriving fire department engine. The fire was knocked down in approximately 20 minutes from time of arrival of fire department resources. Crews will remain on scene for several hours mopping up the damaged and destroyed mobile homes. No injuries have been reported. |
