Wildland fire no immediate structure threat

Location: New start above Placerville and south of Camino, N/S Road @ Iron Mt Rd, Iron Mt off of Mormon Immigrant Trail - Placerville Ranger District
IC: North IC - E2751 North IC, E17 now Operations
IA: 100 acres with multiple spots, Tree torching, Wind event, Medium dispatch, 7 engines, 2 crews from out of unit enroute, very difficult access, no structure threat
Terrain /Fuels: High potential (steep, rugged conifer timber with brush and grass).
Resources: 7 engines from CalFire (unknown more from EDNF), 4 water tenders, 2 crews (finding more, all on delayed arrival since out of unit) and overhead.
Task force of water tenders just dispatched to the fire. Growlersburg crew arriving in unit, enroute to the fire.

2 Contract Dozers
2 Crew Strike Teams
El Dorado Hotshots
2 Cal Fire Crews and 1 Dozer enroute from AEU. That’s all they have staffed.
Weather: very cold, 5-10 mph northeast winds gusts up to 20mph
