Red Flags extended until Friday - Ventura County

THE RED FLAG WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PDT FRIDAY. A LONG DURATION OF HUMIDITIES AROUND 10 PERCENT OR LESS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING... ESPECIALLY IN FOOTHILL LOCATIONS. IN ADDITION...HUMIDITY RECOVERY EACH NIGHT WILL BE POOR...GENERALLY IN THE 15 TO 25 PERCENT RANGE... EXCEPT 10 TO 15 PERCENT IN THE FOOTHILLS. NORTHEAST WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH WITH LOCAL GUSTS TO 30 MPH WILL CONTINUE BELOW PASSES AND CANYONS THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS...WITH LIGHT WINDS THEN PREVAILING THROUGH FRIDAY.

Instruction:
A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE OCCURRING NOW. A COMBINATION OF VERY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY... WARM TEMPERATURES AND CRITICALLY DRY FUELS WILL CREATE THE POTENTIAL FOR EXPLOSIVE FIRE GROWTH. PLEASE ADVISE THE APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS OR FIRE CREWS IN THE FIELD OF THIS RED FLAG WARNING.
