CA-VNC- La Jolla - Wildland Fire - 32+ acres 50%

Update: 16:30hrs CA-VNC- La Jolla - Wildland Fire - 32 acre wildfire is burning medium brush in La Jolla Canyon and is 50% contained. No structures are threatened.
Hwy. 1 is now open between Thornhill/Broome Beach and Las Posas Rd.
Winds are pushing the fire towards the beach with air and ground firefighters making an aggressive attack.

A new wildfire has broken out at Point Mugu State Park near Oxnard.
Location: located just north of the Thornhill/Broome Beach off of PCH, 9000 Pacific Coast Highway in Pt. Mugu State Park, Ventura County.
Fire is burning in La Jolla Canyon which is very near the ocean. Google Map - Link
IA: 10 acres of Light grasses, some brush, sycamores, oaks and a few native walnuts.
No structure threat.
Closures: Highway 1 PCH Closed, Pacific Coast Highway has been shut down in both directions in the area.
Resources: 4 Air Tankers assigned. AT-55, AT-27, ,
