Summary
The US Forest Service conducted a prescribe burn in the vicinity of Grizzly Flat near Caldor Road on April 30, 2008. The fire burned along the ground and removed low growing vegetation, known as Bear Clover, dead branches and other natural debris situated under the trees. Smoke was highly visible during the burn. Fire equipment and personnel were on hand during the ignition and patrols took place following the burn. The prescribe burn is named Last Chance.
