A Red flag warning is still in effect for the mountains, forests and valleys of 5 Southern California counties

The National Weather Service has extended the weekend warning until 8 p.m. tonight because of gusty Santa Ana winds, low humidity levels and warm temperatures.

Winds are expected to reach an average 40 miles per hour this morning
Fire officials are warning against the high risk of wildfires in Los Angeles, Ventura, San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
