  1. Any chance that the Witch fire will move in the direction of the communities on North Peak (i.e. Cuyamaca Woods and Lake Cuyamaca)? These communities are located SE of Pine Hills.

  3. FYI
The latest county map (10/24 @1030) http://www.sdcountyemergency.com/new..._FirePerem.pdf shows a finger of active fire pointing straight at Lake Cuyamaca. It looks like it might be moving up the Boulder Creek drainage towards Cuyamaca Woods and Cuyamaca. I hope I'm wrong.

****REMINDER**** Every fire has the ability to be catastrophic. The wildland fire management environment has profoundly changed. Growing numbers of communities, across the nation, are experiencing longer fire seasons; more frequent, bigger, and more severe, fires are a real threat. Be careful with all campfires and equipment.

"I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts, and beer." --Abraham Lincoln
