[EDIS] RED FLAG WARNING - SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY MOUNTAINS / LOS PADRES NATIONAL FOREST

[EDIS] Red flag warning in effect until 8 pm pdt this evening for prolonged single digit relatively humidities

- SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY MOUNTAINS / LOS PADRES NATIONAL FOREST -


THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOS ANGELES/OXNARD HAS ISSUED A RED FLAG WARNING... WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING. THE FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT. SINGLE DIGIT HUMIDITIES WILL PERSIST THROUGH THIS EVENING AND WILL LIKELY RECOVER OVERNIGHT AND AVERAGE 30 PERCENT. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE 5 TO 10 DEGREES ABOVE SEASONAL NORMAL TODAY.

Instruction:
A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW...OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY... AND WARM TEMPERATURES WILL CREATE EXTREME FIRE GROWTH POTENTIAL. PLEASE ADVISE THE APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS OR FIRE CREWS IN THE FIELD OF THIS RED FLAG WARNING.
