The vegetation fire, is burning off of Camanche Parkway and Coal Mine Road.
Coal Mine Road is closed.
The fire was initially reported as 1/4 of an acre when it ignited around 2:50 p.m. Gusty winds helped spread the flames. By 7 p.m. the blaze was 40 percent contained.
