IRON 44 LODD: 7th year anniversary of the Iron 44 Complex Helicopter Crash Shasta-Trinity National Forest.

Today marks the 7th year anniversary of the Iron 44 Complex helicopter crashin a remote area of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.

 Nine firefighters, including two pilots, gave the ultimate sacrifice in the service to their country. In addition to the lives lost, three firefighters were severely injured.

Let us take a moment to honor the memory of these firefighters and never forget who they are:

Shawn Blazer, 30, of Medford, Ore.
Scott Charlson, 25, of Phoenix, Ore.
Edrik Gomez, 19, of Ashland, Ore.
Matt Hammer, 23, of Grants Pass, Ore.
Jim Rampage, 64, of Redding, Cal.
Steven Caleb Renno, 21, of Cave Junction, Ore.
Bryan Rich, 29, of Medford, Ore.
Roark Schwanenberg, 54, of Lostine, Ore. (Pilot)
David Steele, 19, of Ashland, Ore.
As we continue the mission they dedicated their lives for; let us honor all emergency personnel who sacrifice their lives in the line of duty.
