CA-TGU 36 Fire Wildfire Tehama County near Paynes Creek off Highway 36

 CA-TGU 36 Fire - Tehama County

Fire crews are battling a blaze near Paynes Creek, just off Highway 36 about 20 miles northeast of Red Bluff, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

Update 07/08/2015 1630: Per air attack, bulk of fire holding south of 36 still, the spots north of 36 all have personnel on them and no more spread on them. Air attack releasing hold on 4 tankers, keeping 1 in orbit for contingency. 4 copters are pounding out the hot spots, C202 crew went to work on spots north of 36.
Update 07/08/2015 1530: 100 acres, multiple spot fires 
Update 07/08/2015 1500:  50 acres, both sides of Highway 36

Location: Wildfire both sides of Highway 36, near Paynes Creek (Tehama County).

ROC: Spotting problems north of Hwy 36, 1 structure confirmed destroyed,
