Update 8-01-15 0900:  212 acres, 95% contained. Possibly final update.

Update 7-31-15 0745:  212 acres, 80% contained. Structure threat has been mitigated. All evacuations have been lifted. Mop up and patrol continues.

Update 7-30-15 0745: 150 acres, 60% contained. Two residences destroyed and two residences damaged. Structure threat continues. Complex: China-120 acres; 0%
Mallard-75 acres; 45% contained.

Location: Redding and Millville.

Structures Destroyed:2 structures destroyed, 2 structures and 1 outbuilding damaged.  
Evacuations:Evacuations for Treat Ave, Fuzzy Lane, Flower Lane along with roads between Treat Ave and Flower lane. All roads West of Happy Valley Road.
A Red Cross shelter has been opened at Anderson High School.  
Road Closures :Happy Valley Road @Canyon Road, Canyon Road @HWY 273, Olinda Road @ Happy Valley Road.  
Injuries:2 minor  
Cause:Under Investigation 
Total Fire Personnel:120  
Total Fire Engines:20  
Total Fire crews:3  
Total Helicopters:2  
Total Dozers:1

Conditions:Firefighters continued overnight to aggressively fight the fire. Fire crews made great progress last night but are concerned about the weather forecasted for today. Weather continues to be hot and dry with very low moisture recovery at night. Firefighters will the day to gain containment and re- evaluate road closures and evacuations. Damage assessment is ongoing. Please be cautious of fire equipment and personnel when driving in the area.
