CA-LAC Pines Fire - Vegetation Fire, Los Angeles County Near Wrightwood EVACUATIONS [MAP]

Pines Fire - CA-LAC-003128, Vegetation Fire, Los Angeles County

The Pines Fire was reported at approximately 9:40 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2015 along the Angeles Crest Highway.

Evacuations: 7-18-15 0800 Some organization camps including a Girl Scout Camp were evacuated in addition to Apple Tree, Lion, Verdugo and Peavin Camp Grounds. LA County Sheriff's Palmdale Station has established an evacuation center at Serrano High School in Phelin, 9292 Sheep Creek Road.
Road Closures:  Highway 2 from Wrightwood to Big pines is closed.

Threats/Concerns: Threat to the communities of Phelan, Wrightwood, and historical buildings in the area
