THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HANFORD HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 PM PDT
WEDNESDAY FOR THE FOOTHILLS AND HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE SIERRA
NEVADA FROM YOSEMITE TO KINGS CANYON.

* WINDS: EASTERLY WINDS 20 TO 30 MPH WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS UP TO
  55 MPH OVER HIGHER MOUNTAIN TOPS AND ALONG EAST TO WEST ORIENTED
  CANYONS. LOWER ELEVATIONS OF SIERRA FOOTHILLS COULD SEE GUST UP
  TO 45 MPH ALONG THE SAN JOAQUIN AND MERCED RIVER CANYONS.

* TIMING: WINDS WILL INCREASE TUESDAY EVENING WITH THE STRONGEST
  WINDS EXPECTED WEDNESDAY DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. WINDS
  WILL SUBSIDE DURING THE AFTERNOON WEDNESDAY.
