Update 9-8 0900: 8 acres 100%, Ground resources continue to mop up and patrol. 

Location:South of Jameson lake near the city of Carpentaria, Santa Barbara County.  
IA Description: Start time 09-07 / 1519 hr 8 acres
IA Resources: 
ROC: Burning in heavy fuel with and easterly aspect forward rate has been minimized. Steep terrain with limited or no access. steep terrain, heavy fuels in an area that was not affected by the Zaca Fire. Fire placement on an easterly slope allows for direct sun on the incident early morning. . 
ROS: Moderate rate of spread
