San Bernardino, CA – Local Fire and Police Departments will be hosting three days of realistic hands-on active shooter training exercises at Indian Springs High School in San Bernardino. San Bernardino City Fire Department, San Bernardino Police Department, San Bernardino Unified Schools Police Departments, and local hospitals will be hosting.
These tragic situations can happen in the workplace, schools, malls, places of worship, as well as other places where people gather.
This active shooter training is meant to develop first responder skills and to improve communication among agencies when responding to these types of violent incidents. Fire, police, and EMS personnel will respond as if this were an actual active school shooter event.
Dates: June 17, 19th and 20th – 9:30am to 1:30pm.
Location: Indian Springs High School, 650 N. Del Rosa Avenue
Members of the media are invited attend this event. Reporters and photographers will be given access to every aspect of the event including the shooting, triage activities and the law enforcement response.
