* Springs, Ventura County. Cal Fire IMT 1 (Smith). One mile east of Camarillo, CA. Chaparral. Active fire behavior with long-range spotting. Numerous structures threatened. Road closures and evacuations in effect.

* Summit, Riverside Unit, Cal Fire. One mile north of Banning, CA. Chaparral and grass. Minimal fire activity. 


Northern California Area (PL 3) New fires: 132 
New large fires: 1 
Uncontained large fires: 1 
Type 1 IMTs committed: 1 

* Panther, Butte Unit, Cal Fire. Cal Fire IMT 1 (Derum). Eight miles northwest of Butte Meadows, CA. Timber and logging slash. Wind driven fire with long-range spotting.

CA-VNC- Springs Fire: 
28,000 acres - 30% contained 
Status/Notes: Mandatory evacuations occurred in the community of Hidden Valley and remain in effect. The PCH was opened last night at 2100 hours, CALFIRE IMT-5 (Smith) remains in Unified command with Ventura County Fire Department, Ventura County Sheriff Department, and National Park Service. Mandatory evacuations occurred in the community of Hidden Valley and remain in effect.  Re-population of CSUCI and the Dos Vientos Residential area is occurring now. Partial road closures remain on PCH

Location: LAC 146 Area -Pomona/Walnut Area

ROC: 2 Ares running uphill toward structures. Helespot 182B

CA-SHU-Wildcat: 17 acres - Contained
Status/Notes:  Wild cat road was shut down from black butte to dersch.
Location: Wildcat Road X Black Butte Road. Shingletown, Shasta County
Acres: 6
ROS: Rapid
ROC: Per engine 2473 (wildcat IC) 1 acre north or wildcat road south side of wildcat is 5 acres in brush. Starting to get into the timber. Rapid rate of spread, wind driven.
