San Bernardino: Victorville Police Will Conduct Active School Shooter Training


    San Bernardino Sheriff's Department to Conduct Active Shooter Training in Victorville.

    The Victorville Police Department will be hosting an active shooter response training scenario at West Palms Conservatory School on Saturday, April 20, 2013. 


     Scenarios will be based on recent domestic active shooter incidents, incorporating current crime trends. These exercises will allow school administrators and first responders to participate in functional exercises utilizing recently updated response plans for violent intruders on campus. 

    The focus of the training for first responders will be on immediate action/rapid deployment tactics for patrol, including contact and rescue team movements. Members of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, as well as first responders from outside agencies will be participating in this event.
