MONO-EASTERN ALPINE COUNTIES-MINERAL AND SOUTHERN LYON COUNTIES


RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS EVENING FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR MONO AND EASTERN ALPINE COUNTIES IN CALIFORNIA...AND MINERAL AND SOUTHERN LYON COUNTIES IN NEVADA.

* AFFECTED AREA
WEST CENTRAL NEVADA BASIN AND RANGE, FIRE ZONE 450, WESTERN NEVADA SIERRA FRONT., FIRE ZONE 273 MONO - EASTERN ALPINE COUNTIES AND FIRE ZONE 459 MINERAL AND SOUTHERN LYON COUNTIES.

* WINDS - SOUTHWEST WINDS 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 65 MPH. WIND GUSTS UP TO 80 MPH IN WIND PRONE LOCATIONS.

* HUMIDITY - FALLING TO 10 TO 20 PERCENT.

* IMPACTS - THE COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY
WILL CREATE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
