CA-MVU San Diego Prescribed Fire Today Cuyamaca Rancho State Park.


Where: Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, in Julian area as firefighters and state parks personnel carry out a brush-clearing operation in the 
When: Prescribed burn scheduled for 60 acres in the park's Fern Flat area off state Route 79 between Lookout and Pipeline roads from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to Capt. Mike Mohler of Cal Fire.
Smoke: Mohler said smoke would be visible in the nearby communities of Julian, like Ramona, and Cuyamaca throughout the day.
