CA-LPF- Lookout Fire, 44 acres 100%

Final Update: 44 acres, 100% Percent Contained 
Containment Thursday October 18th, 2012 approx. 05:00 PM

Evacuations have been lifted with areas being repopulated
IC: Fire remains in unified Command (USFS Los Padres, Santa Barbara Co Fire). 
CA-LPF-3127 Santa Barbara County Jurisdiction (FRA)
Location: Hwy 154 X Painted Cave Rd, San Marcos Pass area,, Santa Barbara Co.
Conditions: Firefighters and aircraft (8AT's and 5 Rotary were working at one point in intial attack) are working to improve containment lines in steep rugged terrain.
Closures: Both directions of Highway 154 have re-opened but county roads in the area
including Painted Cave remain closed just north of Santa Barbara in the San Marcos Pass area.
