Two Los Angeles County firefighters who lost their lives in the Station Fire are set to be honored Wednesday at a ceremony to dedicate a freeway interchange in Lancaster.

Why: Captain Ted Hall and Engineer Arnie Quinones lost their lives during the devastating 2009 Station Fire, the largest fire in the history of Los Angeles County. both were killed when their truck plunged 800 feet off a dirt road as they battled oncoming flames in the 2009 Station Fire - the largest wildfire in Los Angeles County history.
Who: Los Angeles County officials are set to attend the ceremony along with relatives of the fallen heroes.
Note: A section of the Angeles Forest Highway through the burned area was also renamed in their honor. Captain Ted Hall and Engineer Arnie Quinones Memorial Highway
