DALE FIRE - WUI Wildfire Evacuations - 1200 acres - 75% contained


DALE FIRE - Evacuations An evacuation shelter has been established at Shasta High School.  
 Evacuations in effect for Diggins Way south of Placer Rd, Clear Creek Rd, Honeybee Rd, Whispering Canyon Dr, Cloverdale Rd & Oak St. 


Updates:
7-7-0600 - CA-SHU Dale Fire. 1,200 acres, 75% contained as of 0600 this morning.
7-6-0800 - 1,200 acres, 40% contained.after destroying two outbuildings and damaging five homes.
20:30 Per air attack the #Dalefire is at 1200 acres.
20:00 The fire is burning towards the northwest. Approximately 80 homes evacuated SW of Redding.
AA advised IC that the head has crossed over the retardant line and is continuing to the North Moderate ROS, additional evacuations are advised per AA (everything South of Placer Rd) Cloverdale Rd is closed from Clover View Rd to Oak St. Clear Creek Rd is closed as well.
19:00 IC requested 2 additional Engine Strike Teams to Clear Creek Staging for structure protection.
