Fire Behavior: Uphill run from Highway to top of ridge. Rapid rate of spread, torching, crowning and long range spotting.
Significant Events: Highway 299 is partially closed. There is one way traffic and CalTrans is escorting vehicles.
Outlook / Planned Actions: Continue with line construction on North and South flanks. Indirect line construction may be considered.

Terrain Difficulty: Extreme
Remarks: Additional resources needed: Type 1 crews, Type 1 and 2 helicopters.
