LAFD: Campus IC - Grass Fire - 2 acres Occidental College property

Campus IC 
Wildland Fire out after 1 hour, 45 minutes, says #LAFD It was sparked by #LAWind downed power lines http://bit.ly/u51ph9
As of 20:00 last evening LAFD had pre-deployed staffed "Ready Reserve"
companies, some of which are onscene there.

1 Bulldozer Strike Team

*UPDATE:8 companies working the fire at Oxy. Not even a Greater Alarm - but a stubborn wind-driven fire none-the-less. -Brian

*UPDATE: 1921 N Campus Rd LAPD arrived prior & self-initiated evacuation of immediate area; Media contact LAPD for evac details.

*UPDATE: 2 acres fanned by strong wind on Occidental College property, The firefight continues in strong/erratic winds, no injuries or structures damaged;
