CA-MVU-Great #Wildfire 2,000 acres - 40% - Map

Incident Name/Type: CA-MVU- GREAT FIRE

Update: 0-3 0700hrs Great Fire east of Julian (San Diego County) is now 2,000 acres; 40% contained, All evacuation advisories have been lifted

Update: 10-2 1600hrs - Great CA- MVU-011091 Hwy 78 @ Scissors Crossing, Julian
2000 acres, 20% contained. Evacuation advisory, repeat, advisory only,
issued via reverse 911 for the following areas:
Shelter Valley Kentwood #1 & #2 Whispering Pines Pine Crest Campground
Banner KQ Ranch Harrison Park
Cal Fire at the Great Fire

Fire crews:43 (34 CAL FIRE)

Dozers:5 CAL FIRE  
Water tenders:13  
Conditions:The fire continued to be active overnight. The wind is currently pushing the fire to the east. Firefighters are working to protect the Mastro Trailer Ranch.
Hwy 78 is closed between Wynola Rd & Scissors Crossing (S2).
There is also a hard road closure Wynola Rd East of the Banner side to west of S-2 at Scissors Crossing.
