  • Conditions: The fire is moving in a northeasterly direction.
  • Structure Threats: 35 homes and 5 outbuildings are threatened
  • Special Hazards: 
  • Evacuations:   Evacuation advisory in place for Rancho Heights Rd. and Magee Rd. An evacuation center has been established at the Jim Banks Sports Complex located at: 12194 Pala Mission Road  
  • Cause: Under Investigation, blaze may have been sparked by a car crash. The California Highway Patrol reported on its website that a Toyota Camry hit a pole and caught fire about 10:30 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Pala Temecula and Moro roads.
  • Cooperating Agencies: CAL FIRE, US Forest Service, Sycuan Fire, Pala Fire, LA County Fire, San Diego Sheriff & California Highway Patrol.
