Washington: - 5 alarm Wildland Fire Incident - WA-YK8N-Cowiche Mill Road

10,000+ acres, multiple structures lost. This is a Washington State mobilization Mutual Aid fire.
Dozens of homes threatened. Ongoing Evacuations in place At least 2 structures lost, multiple structure threats, extreme rates of spread.
State Mob is now expanded to the west side of the state. Wild land resources are now being ordered up now from Western Washington. This also may include structural resources and still awaiting details on the actual order. Advised that this fire has gone federal or FMAG, and DIVS on the ground believes incident has gone type 2. 07/18/2010 13:54 SES-264 Alpine District Wildfire Yakima CO, Cowiche, T14 R17 S31 Brush fire,
Fire District, DNR responding,
Yesterday, 16:34 Calling for ANY available command units to call in
Running low on local resources! Calling private contract dozers.
Yesterday, 17:22 IC states he expects that at least 3 more structures will be lost due to lack of resources.
Yesterday, 18:55 It's still going strong. Structure protection 500 Spraige Road requesting pumper at 2108 Pioneer - told to evac 14000 Marble Road, evac and fire at their house.
Yesterday, 21:19 Fire jumped line, reported to be 'further down the ridge'
Fire jumped the line on Mable. Sending engines all of the way to the west on Marble. Dozers parked for the night. Fire reaching Rocky Top in about 10 minutes.
Injuries: Three firefighters were sent to local hospitals to be treated for smoke inhalation and have returned to duty.
