CA-VNC-Shell - Ventura County - 2-alarm brush fire

Evacuations: None at this time,
Road Closures: None at this time.
Structure threat: None at this time

Update: 1800hrs -- 30-acres, 5% containment. Will be out all night. Will have day shift
Update: 1730hrs -IC adv. 30 acres with no structure threat.
IA: 1600hrs - Brush Fire

Resources: 15 eng, 6 hc, 2 copters, 2 doz.
Ventura county and CalFire 100+ firefighters are either on scene or in route. Ventura Camp crews, helicopters on scene, AA& Air Tankers ordered
Location: Northbound Highway 33 at Shell Rd. near the City of Ventura, Ventura County in the Devils Canyon area north of SR33/Shell Road.
