CA-LVN- Marshall - Wildland Fire(Medium/Heavy Brush) - 95 acres, 100% contained

CA-LACOF/ANF - Marshall- Wildland Fire(Medium/Heavy Brush) Angeles National Forest - LVN/LAC/ANF in Unified Command on a brush fire next to the Marshall Canyon Golf Course Los Angeles, CA

Update: 7-13 AM - Fire is 100 percent contained and controlled. Fire is being patrolled for flare ups.

Arson: arson investigators determined the blaze was the product of arson because it started in two places near a dirt road close to the golf course.
Evacuations: The golf course was evacuated and later closed for the night.
No structure damage, No injuries have been reported.

Update: 1850 - Los Angeles County fire Captain Mike Brown says the blaze is expected to be fully surrounded Sunday evening. Brown says the blaze, reported about 4 p.m., briefly threatened three homes before crews beat back the flames.
Update: 1840 - AngelesNFStaffing of all ANF fire suppression resources being extended for several hours tonight due to hot, dry conditions and general fire activity.

Update: 1840 - AngelesNF Marshall Fire 20% contained and 90 acres
Update: 1725 - IC calls 3rd Alarm, Fire is spotting uphill to the north, No containment as of now
Update: 1715 - 2nd Alarm for LACoFD Assisting LVN & ANF 2009-07-12 | 17:15 PT
Update: 1655 - Per the IC 20-30 Acres, Rapid ROS in Heavy Brush. Still a threat to the ANF. No structures threat
Update: 1645 - 15+ acres fast ROS into medium to heavy fuels, Spotting ahead of the fire with a wind.
Update: 1635 PT - Second alarm 10 acres with a rapid ROS
