CAL FIRE/Butte County Fire to Host Live Fire Training Exercise
May 21, 2009 : CAL FIRE / Butte County Fire

Gridley, CA - CAL FIRE/Butte County Fire Department will be holding a live fire training exercise on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 26 and 27, 2000.

Where: 103 Randolph Ave. in Gridley.
When: The department's Training and Safety Bureau will be hosting the drill which will run from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. both days. The most active fire should occur from 11:00 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m.
Why: "We've scheduled this drill to coincide with our returning seasonal academy and skills exercise," stated Training and Safety Bureau Chief Darren Read. "The firefighters will be put through their paces in structural firefighting operations, ventilation, interior fire attack and the rescue of trapped victims."
Who:
CAL FIRE/Butte County Fire Department and Local Butte County Fire Department volunteer firefighters will also be in attendance.
