CA-CDD-Midway - Imperial County vegetation fire - 250 acres, 20%

CA-CDD-Midway
Fire started yesterday morning and is approximately 250 acres, 20% percent contained.
Update: Yesterday, 11:19 - Engine 47 from the Cleveland National Forest enroute.
Sizeup: 50 acres, rapid rates of spread, Fire is wind driven gust to 40 mph with access problems due to soft sand. Potential - 500 acres
Location: south of Holtville, CA - Haley Rd. X Montgomery Rd. east of Calipatria in Imperial County .
Resources: Units from CA-CDD, AZ-CRD, and Imperial County responding or enroute.CA-CNF is sending E-39, E-47, and E-44. CA-BDF is sending Fuels Crew 1. CRD is sending E-3662.
Fuels: 8'to 10' tamarisk, mesquite and creosote.
Comms: Yuma area on 168.7375
