The bankruptcy trial over Vallejo's employee union contracts, at the heart of the city's bankruptcy case, begins at 9 a.m. today in Sacramento.
The trial will start since California Eastern District Court Judge Michael McManus on Monday rejected employee unions' move for a three-week delay.
McManus will begin hearing testimony today regarding contracts with two of the four city employees unions -- International Brotherhood Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 2376 and International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1186."
