Ventura County fire east of Piru - Motocross track

Even though thick black smoke can be seen hovering over the western edge of Santa Clarita, According to Ventura County Fire officials the fire is located in a foam padding pit at a motocross track in Ventura County.
Initial reports had place the fire in an oil field very close to the Los Angeles County/Ventura County border, and the wind patterns have carried the smoke southeast.
The fire was contained as of 10:50 p.m. and firefighters were close to extinguishing the blaze, Nash said.
