Webcams of the California Water Science Center

Map legend Webcams have been installed at several real-time stream-gaging sites. The webcams provide valuable information to the National Weather Service, emergency managers, and area residents to evaluate real-time conditions in river environments during storms. The visual record of flooding and other river events also provides valuable research data for the USGS. Many of these webcam installations are part of the USGS Multi-Hazards Demonstration Project.
The index below is ordered by webcam location in a north-to-south direction.

****REMINDER**** Every fire has the ability to be catastrophic. The wildland fire management environment has profoundly changed. Growing numbers of communities, across the nation, are experiencing longer fire seasons; more frequent, bigger, and more severe, fires are a real threat. Be careful with all campfires and equipment.

"I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts, and beer." --Abraham Lincoln
